Hi, I’m Chris Brown — a wildlife and landscape photographer based in Sheffield.
My journey into photography started later than most, picking up my first DSLR, a Nikon D5300, back in 2019. What began as a curiosity quickly turned into a passion, driven by a love of the outdoors and a desire to capture the beauty of the natural world.
Living so close to the Peak District, I spend as much time as I can exploring its landscapes and wildlife. While I started out photographing sweeping views and dramatic scenery, my focus has gradually shifted toward wildlife — where patience, timing, and connection with nature come together in a completely different way.
These days, I shoot with a Canon EOS R and an R7, tools that help me capture the detail and character of the animals I love to photograph most. My favourite subjects include red deer, kingfishers, puffins, and great crested grebes — each offering their own unique challenges and rewards.
For me, photography is about more than just images; it’s about being outside, slowing down, and appreciating the moments that often go unnoticed. Through my work, I hope to share a glimpse of that experience and inspire others to connect with the natural world.

I also started a Youtube channel late 2019 which covers a few photo walks and gear reviews. The channel is in its infancy so don’t expect quality video editing and content haha.
